This chestnut side pole of 3.50 metres is the tallest side pole in the chestnut range. It gives generous headroom along the edges, which matters when guests walk under the side or when you put a bar, a buffet or a DJ there. Chestnut is untreated timber with the bark left on: every pole has its own curve and grain, and weathers grey outdoors on its own.
When do you choose 3.50 m?
With this size, watch the ratio to your centre pole. A 4.00 metre centre pole leaves only half a metre of height difference, and the fabric then runs flat. That costs you both the tent shape and the water run-off. Pair 3.50 metres with the centre pole in 4.50 metres or 5.00 metres instead. If you want a more compact setup, the 3.00 metre side pole makes more sense.
