Rope tensioner with ratchet for your stretch tent – Basic
This tensioner lets you put the guy ropes of your stretch tent under tension without tying knots. You pull the rope through the ratchet. When you let go, the ratchet locks and the rope stays put. It fits rope from 8 to 11 mm and is made for people who set up their own tent: for a garden party, a wedding or a canopy in the garden. This version is not certified.
When do you use a rope tensioner?
A stretch tent only looks right when the fabric is evenly tensioned. Knots are hard to adjust: if the fabric sags a little after rain or wind, you have to untie and retie them. With a rope tensioner you take up each rope a little at a time, without undoing anything. That works during setup and in the days after.
