An aluminium side pole of 3.00 m supports the edge of your stretch tent. Side pole or centre pole?
A side pole is not the same as a centre pole. Centre poles start at 4.00 m and carry the highest point of the tent. Side poles like this one stand along the outer edge and set the drop height of the canvas. So choose your pole by the position it takes, not by length alone.
