Ground anchor 1000 x 30 mm for stretch tents
This ground anchor, 1 metre long and 30 mm thick, is the standard size in our range of tent pegs and the size most often used on stretch tents. You drive it into the ground to secure the guy ropes of your stretch tent.
When do you choose this size?
Length and thickness decide how much grip you get in the ground. At 1 metre it is 200 mm longer than the 800 x 25 mm and reaches deeper: around 403 kg of pull-out force against 267 kg. Against the 1000 x 35 mm it is 5 mm slimmer and 2 kg lighter, so easier to carry and to drive in, at some 60 kg less pull-out force. Choose the 1000 x 35 mm when you need that reserve.
