Description
Ground anchor 600 x 20 mm for stretch tents
This ground anchor, 600 mm long and 20 mm thick, is the smallest size in our range of tent pegs. You drive it into the ground to secure the guy ropes of your stretch tent. You can also use it to fix down base plates.
When do you choose this size?
Shorter and thinner than our other pegs, and at 2 kg a good deal lighter as well. That makes it handier to carry and quicker to drive in, but it does not reach as deep and so holds less: around 86 kg of pull-out force, against 267 kg for the 800 x 25 mm and over 400 kg for the one-metre sizes. Use it for base plates and light fixing, not as the main anchoring of a large tent.
