Description
A eucalyptus wood tent pole provides the right tension when setting up a stretch tent. This 3.00 metre side pole is lacquered to preserve the beautiful light brown colour and protect the wood. The pole is light yet sturdy and can withstand heavy loads, making it ideal for reliable support.
The side pole between the corners
The 3.00 metre pole is mainly used in the positions that are not on a corner. These side poles stand in between the corners and are deliberately taller: they pull the fabric upwards, while the lower corner poles let the fabric run down. It is exactly that difference in height that creates the wave-like shape and the tight tension you recognise in a well pitched stretch tent.
There is a practical gain too. At 3.00 metres you keep plenty of headroom along the side, so guests walk in and out comfortably and you can stand at the edge without stooping. That makes this the most chosen side pole length for weddings, hospitality set-ups and events.
For the corners themselves you would normally choose the 2.50 metre side pole. If you want to lift the sides even further, have a look at the 3.50 metre side pole.
