Description
A eucalyptus wood tent pole provides the right tension when setting up a stretch tent. This 2.50 metre side pole is supplied without a pole cap and is lacquered, preserving the light brown colour. The pole is light yet sturdy and can withstand heavy loads.
Most often used on the corners
In most set-ups the 2.50 metre pole stands on the corners of the stretch tent. The corners form the lowest point: this is where the fabric runs down towards the ground so rainwater drains away properly. By keeping the corners lower than the side poles in between, you build tension into the fabric and create the flowing line that gives a stretch tent its look. For the positions in between the corners you would normally choose the 3.00 metre side pole.
Without a cap, who is this for?
This version is for anyone who only needs the pole. For example because you are replacing a broken or lost pole and reusing your existing pole cap, because you want to combine separate caps in a different colour, or because you are building up a stock of spare poles. That way you do not pay for a cap you already have. Would you like a cap included after all? Then choose the 2.50 metre side pole including pole cap.
